This sun-soaked journey offers you the chance to immerse yourself in the more untouched side of Crete, exploring the rugged terrain of the Sfakia region in the south. The tour blends awe-inspiring landscapes, charming mountain villages, and the pristine waters of the Libyan Sea. Your adventure begins with a picturesque drive through the mountains and the lush Askyfou plateau, where we’ll pause for a traditional snack in an authentic setting. Upon arriving at the port of Sfakia, we’ll take a short boat ride to the picture-perfect Sweetwater Beach, one of the finest on the island, named for the fresh spring water that bubbles up just beneath the sand. After a refreshing swim, you can either join your guide for an hour-long coastal hike or take a boat to the tranquil village of Loutro for a late lunch by the sea. As the day winds down, we’ll return by boat to Sfakia and then drive back to Chania.
